OBICE – control of beaches’ capacity

According to Portuguese Law- Decree No. 24/2020 of 25th of May, it is mandatory to regulate the access, occupation and use of beaches, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, for the bathing season of 2020.

In order to respond to the access control and capacity of beaches, parks, outdoor pools and small multi-purpose enclosures, Lightenjin, with the know-how of our technological partners, developed the OBICE.

OBICE is a system with built-in controllers and a variable number of sensors. When the maximum number of users is reached, the traffic light changes to red and displays an X. In these versions in addition to the color Green and red, the color yellow also appears when the controlled area is almost at the maximum capacity of people.

OBICE product for outdoor use is available in 2 versions, both with batteries, one being an autonomous product powered by photovoltaic panels and the other the batteries are charged from the mains.
