LIGHTENJIN AT THE FOREFRONT OF EFFICIENCY

Lightenjin participated in the pilot project of SCHOOL PARK, EPE, for the Modernization of Schools with Secondary Education, developing a lighting system for LED technology, for updating and replacing the existing light sources in the classrooms.

This project took place at the Basic and Secondary School of Canelas, in Vila Nova De Gaia.

The contest had very tight criteria, to which we responded by fulfilling all of the same, since the objective was to maintain the existing lighting, making the LED retrofit of the internal part of the luminaire, maintaining or improving the existing lighting levels and in advance required by the PE, complying with the standard EN 12464-1, and substantially lowering the power of the light source, which was approximately 49W, passing it to 30.3W.

The execution period of the work was 90 Days, and it was concluded in 45 Days, thanks to the work and commitment of the entire Lightenjin team.

The result was a saving of about 40% to the general consumption of the classrooms, maintaining the criteria of visual comfort (UGR <19), of the existing luminaire, and a result of the test room with an Emed = 614 Lux with 64% of uniformity, passing the specified power 1.14W / m2 / 100Lux, and passing the useful life of the light source to 50000h.
