Description
This investment project corresponds to the materialisation of a spin-off of the development and R&D unit of Lightenjin II, coming to life for the start of the activity of a new company, Lightenjin II – Indústria de Iluminação, Lda., and the implementation of a new productive unit for designing, producing, and selling lighting solutions and control systems for the high and professional range sub-segments.
The new productive unit involves investment associated with the construction of an industrial complex and the creation of production lines in order to produce standardised, customised, and highly sophisticated lighting solutions at the various stages: LED light, electronic units (LED modules and drivers) and light fixtures, as well as external control units that control the lights and related intensity adjusters and sensors. Thus, the unit will include the following operational areas: technical area / production lines, a prototyping laboratory, a testing and optical laboratory, and a warehouse.

Its innovation activities are:

• The development of new innovative lighting solutions in terms of energy efficiency, design, and integration in interoperable management systems with the possibility to integrate the Internet technologies of Things by means of PoE or Bluetooth.
• Implementation of an automatic production, assembly, and storage line.
• Development of a marketing strategy
• Implementation of an integrated business management system.
